Today’s inauguration of President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino also marks the official ending of the term of Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. But today must be considered not only as Day One of the new administration but also of the people’s continuing pursuit of justice against the many crimes committed by the outgoing government.

The reform advocacy group Pagbabago! People’s Movement for Change participated in the beginning of the 24-hour countdown to the end of what it described as outgoing President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s nine years of abuse of power, and urged President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III to hold her accountable for her regime’s crimes against the Filipino people.

The rage is very understandable as the act is obviously condemnable.

The reform group Pagbabago! People's Movement for Change today expressed solidarity with the relatives and supporters of Maguindanao massacre victims, as well as the Filipino people, media practitioners, and human rights advocates.
