Noynoy’s inauguration starts Day One of continuing pursuit for justice against Arroyo

Today’s inauguration of President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino also marks the official ending of the term of Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. But today must be considered not only as Day One of the new administration but also of the people’s continuing pursuit of justice against the many crimes committed by the outgoing government.

Reform group urges prosecution of Arroyo for corruption, rights violations

The reform advocacy group Pagbabago! People’s Movement for Change participated in the beginning of the 24-hour countdown to the end of what it described as outgoing President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s nine years of abuse of power, and urged President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III to hold her accountable for her regime’s crimes against the Filipino people.
